भौतिकवादस्य विकासवादस्य च सिद्धान्तानेव सर्वाग्रे संस्थाप्य तदनुसरणं कुर्वतः आधुनिकजगतः प्रकृतिविषयकस्नेहः अपगत एव इति प्रतीतिर्भवति। तस्मादेव अस्मत्परितः दृश्यमानानां तथाकथितविविधविकासकार्याणां परिणामतः नानाविधसौख्यप्राप्तिस्तु जायते किन्तु प्रकृतेः महान् अपघातः अनेन सम्भवति इत्यपि सर्वविदितमेव। किञ्च स्वीयनानाविधावश्यकतानां परिपूर्तये कियदपि दौष्ट्यमाचरितुं सिद्धः दृश्यते मानवः। प्रकृतिविषयकघोरापराधकारणात् स्वसौख्यसम्पादने च विधीयमानपापवशाच्च नानाविधाः समस्याः उद्भूयमानाः सन्ति। तद्यथा- वैयक्तिक-शारीरिक-पारिवारिक-आर्थिक-सामाजिक-भौगोलिकादयः।

शिक्षा ज्ञानं कौशलं अनुभवं च प्राप्तुं प्रक्रिया अस्ति या व्यक्तिस्य समग्रविकासाय सहायकं भवति । शिक्षा राष्ट्रस्य मेरुदण्डः अस्ति। देशस्य विकासाय शिक्षायाः प्रगतिः अत्यावश्यकी अस्ति । राष्ट्रियशिक्षानीतिः देशस्य शिक्षाव्यवस्थायाः संरचनायाः क्रियाकलापस्य च मार्गदर्शनं कुर्वती योजना अस्ति । अर्थात् यस्य देशस्य शिक्षाव्यवस्था सर्वकारस्य निरीक्षणे चालिता भवति या देशस्य सर्वेषां नागरिकानां कृते समानावकाशान् सुनिश्चितं करोति। अस्य मुख्यं लक्ष्यं भवति यत् सर्वेषां छात्राणां कृते एकं निश्चितस्तरं यावत् गुणवत्तापूर्णशिक्षा सुनिश्चिता भवतु यत्र सर्वेषां जातिः धर्मः लिङ्गः च न कृत्वा शिक्षणस्य अवसरः प्राप्स्यति।

ईसीसीई के सन्दर्भ में प्राचीन भारतीय दृष्टिकोण और राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति (NEP 2020)

राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति २०२० प्रथम खंड के प्रथम अध्याय में प्रारम्भिक बाल्यावस्था में देखभाल एवं शिक्षा (ECCE) की बात करती है। प्रारम्भिक बाल्यावस्था में देखभाल और शिक्षा (ECCE) कोई नविन पद्धति नहीं है जो शिक्षा नीति द्वारा बनाई गई हो अपितु प्राचीन काल से भारतीय परम्परा में चलती आ रही शिशुओं की लालन-पोषण से संबद्ध चर्चा है जो कि शिक्षा से विस्मृत हो गई थी। राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति २०२० शिक्षा का प्रारम्भ नर्सरी कक्षा से करती है। यह नीति प्राथमिक एवं माध्यमिक शिक्षा व्यवस्था (१०+२) को बदलकर प्रारंभिक प्राथमिक माध्यमिक एवं उच्च माध्यमिक (५+३+३+४) में शिक्षा व्यवस्था को विभाजित करती है। इस पद्धति में प्रथम कक्षा से पूर्व नर्सरी एवं प्रारंभिक शिक्षा से सम्बंधित अन्य दो वर्गों को शिक्षण पद्धति में जोड़ा गया है।

This study explores the rich eco-ethical consciousness embedded in Vedic Epic Puranic Dharmashastra and classical Sanskrit literary texts. This vision revolves on cosmic interdependence viewing humans animals plants and nature as essential parts of a unified moral system. Concepts such as Vasudhaiva-kutumbakam ahiṃsā (non-violence) ānṛśaṃsya (compassion) yajña (sacrifice as mutual sustenance) and self-restraint shape an ethical framework that promotes harmony between humanity and nature. Texts like the Ṛgveda Mahābhārata Rāmāyaṇa Bhagavadgītā Manusmṛti Arthaśāstra Pañcatantra and works of Kālidāsa and Bāṇabhaṭṭa articulate respect for forests animals and all forms of life emphasizing protection moderation and gratitude.
